-- Lepidopterist's Quest --

A fanciful piece with an odd, seemingly sprung 4-against-6 rhythm and even odder English Horn trio trading hits with a

hammer dulcimer-bass ensemble while a high right hand on a grand piano trips around representing the flutter-by, and the

sneaky footprints of the Lepidopterist counted off by the hammered dulcimer, this piece is just plain different,

and if you manage to fit it into any genre, will necessarily be as general as if you'd just said "music."

Key: G minor       Time signature: 4/4      Tempo: 100      Length: 156 measures      Time: 6 minutes, 18 seconds

Instruments: Hammer Dulcimer, Piano, Classic Guitar, Cello, Fretless Electric Bass and Three English Horns
